Story:

I've known Jenny since the summer of 2007. Back then, she lived at the riding shool where I spent every childhood holiday and from the beginning there was something special about her. Sensitive, full of spirit and impossible to forget. In 2013 I finally fulfilled my dream and brought her home.

Jenny and I have shared countless adventures over the years. Together we earned my western riding certificate, explored endless trails, swam in lakes and created memories I'll nevver forget. She was never the easiest horse. Sensitive, incredibly intelligent and full of energy but those were the qualities that made her my greatest teacher. Jenny taught me to listen, to be patient and to appreciate the quiet conversations horses have with us.

After a serious paddock accident in 2023 it seemed that Jenny's journey under the saddle had come to an end, but after two years of retirement, she recovered far better than I ever dared to hope. Today she joins me on trail rides again, a gift I'm grateful for every day.

At Rancho La Calma she also palys an important role within the herd, bringing calm, stability and balance. Every day she reminds me just how much she has taught me.
