Story:

Lucera joined Rancho La Calma as Sully's successor and will soon become a trusted partner for larger and heavier riders exploring the beautiful countryside of Spain.

However, her start with us didn't go quite as planned. She arrived at the ranch unwell and first needed time to recover. At the same time, she was introduced to her new herd and given all the time she needed to settle in. Today, she is fully integrated and continues to grow in confidence every day.

Lucera is currently still in training and is being carefully prepared for her future role. She has already shown an impressively calm and fearless attitude, taking new situations in her stride. It didn't take long before she confidently mastered our mountain trail park as well.

Around people, Lucera can still be a little reserved at first. She may not have had the best experiences in her past, but with patience, kindness and fairness, she is learning to trust more every day. Little by little, her gentle and affectionate personality is beginning to shine through, and we look forward to accompanying her on the next chapter of her journey.
